The Platinum

Platinum means ‘little silver’ but except for the colour it’s actually not like silver at all. Platinum is one of the least reactive metals. It has remarkable resistance to corrosion, even at high temperatures, and is therefore considered a noble metal where silver isn’t. It’s a very ‘cool’ metal though, used in a lot of high tech engineering applications. And it’s this coolness we tried to grasp in this D A I S Y  J A M E S wallcover: The Platinum.
